Michael's surgery

We all would like to know how Michael's surgery went. Were you there and how he is doing now. Tell him I hope things work out well and that he is not in too much pain. I am praying for him, as all of you. cindy

I am sorry to hear of Michael's surgery. I hope all goes well for him. I agree, he is too young to have these problems. If he has to be off work for a while maybe he would be able to come with you to the wedding. Would be great to see him again.

Mike's wedding

Mike will be getting married on the 13th of Sept. at 5:00 pm . Hope all the family can make it. Lynn has plenty of room for people ( notice I invited everyone to stay there) Please let her know asap if you plan on attending. Be looking forward to seeing everyone there cindy

Michael Plasterer surgery

Michael will have surgery on his right arm on Wednesday. He has had a problem with the shoulder going out, to the point where he cannot lift his arms above his head. He will be out of work for a couple months for therapy as well. Frankly, he is too young for this stuff.

Michael's Wedding

I do not see wedding information on the blog. I hope someone can put some information about the wedding in September. I might be able to make it, but I need to make plans.

I am glad that things went so well for the graduation.

Thanks Lynn for putting the pictures up of the weekend. I guess this will be the last graduation for our family. It will now be the grandkids turns. We all had a good weekend, I just wish more of the family could have made it. It is fun to get together for happy times. Maybe we should try to have a family reunion sometime. I am glad to see you are going to try to put pictures on the blog. It is really not all that hard.

This has been a busy weekend. Mike took the pontoon out yesterday and he spent all afternoon there. Danny and I went for about 2 hrs in the evening. The water is still really cold, so we didn't do any swimming. The guys did some fishing tho. One caught about a 6 lb catfish.

I also cleaned windows and the carpet in the living room. I am glad that is done. We want to go to Stockton Lake this summer again, so always like to have most of the cleaning out of the way. I will take some pictures this time and post them.

Lynn: looks like you had a nice day for your party. I like the diaper cake. By the way we are grandparents again. Dustin had a boy the other day. They named him Alexander. I guess Chrissy knows she is having a boy also. That takes all the fun out of things. I bet they are glad its a boy. I wish I had the talent for flowers but no such luck with me. Spring is finally here

We have had a pretty cold and snowy winter this year so it is wonderful to see the flower in bloom. These are in the backyard. We still have a lot of work to do in the garden. As you know, Missouri is full of clay and the dirt gets hard as concrete.

Sunday May 18th we had a baby shower for Jacob who is due in July.

This is a Diaper Cake. It is made totally from diapers. Chrissys best friend had this idea.

Political Season

George,
I am glad to see you are sending your thoughts on the current political race. It will be a very interesting election. I haven't read your thoughts on Huckabee yet but have printed it and will read it in a few minutes. I am really undecided about who to vote for this year. I think it is because our nation needs a great leader right now and none of the candidates is really standing out as one.

By the way, Mike is getting married on Sept 13. Hope you all can come. He and Stephanie have been dating for about 5 years now. She is really a sweet girl.

Hello Everyone

Hope you all had a nice week. I did my normal today-house cleaning and laundry. Mike is cleaning up his yard again as he came and got the truck to haul debri. We have quite a pile to burn again. Danny has been picking up the yard (we always have a lot of small branches down when it is windy) and he has been cleaning out some fence line. He is ready to go back to work. He does not like sitting around. We are suppose to be getting Danny's dads player piano. Millie wants to get it shipped soon. She also has quite a few rolls of music to go with it. I quess it will be fun to have but we really do not need it.

Hi everyone. I hope this gets going for everyone soon and we can share with each other what is going on in our lives. As for me, life has been pretty hetic ( as I am sure it is for all) I work most of the time but i am fortunate that it is also things l like to do. I have several cleaning jobs now and may be getting another one next week if i can put it in my schedule. Kids are all doing great. Seth starts his student teaching next week. Will be a new experience for him finally working in the school system. take care and god bless cindy
